Sunday in Orlando

Broken bottles under childrens feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street

But I wont heed the battle call

It puts my back up

Puts my back up against the wall

And the battles just begun

Theres many lost, but tell me who has won

The trench is dug within our hearts

And mothers, children, brothers, sisters torn apart

Wipe the tears from your eyes

Wipe your tears away

Wipe your tears away

I wipe your tears away
(sunday, bloody sunday)
I wipe your blood shot eyes (sunday, bloody sunday)

Sunday, bloody sunday

Sunday, bloody sunday

Jeden z mych nejoblibenejsich od U2...

Dobra verze je z tohohle koncertu:

...while this is already an amazing song, I thought the emotional impact was increased tenfold, when during a live performance in Denver, Colorado, on Nov. 8, 1987, (the night of the bombing of a war memorial service in Enniskillen in which 11 people died and more than 60 were injured) Bono said the following while the rest of U2 played in the background: "And let me tell you something. I've had enough of Irish Americans who haven't been back to their country in 20 or 30 years and come up to me and talk about the resistance, the revolution back home. And the glory of the revolution, and the glory of dying for the revolution. Fuck the revolution! ..."

To bude asi ten postmoderní svět - k dobré pohodě v krasný letní den nám hraje skladba o masakru...
